France's Top Carpooling & Ridesharing Apps on Android in Q1 2021

In the first quarter of 2021, the carpooling and ridesharing app landscape in France saw varied user engagement on Android devices. Sensor Tower's data provides insights into the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for the top apps in this category.

Uber - Request a ride, despite reporting no revenue, maintained a significant user base with weekly active users fluctuating around the 400K mark. Downloads saw a slight downward trend from 13K in the last week of December to around 11K by the end of March.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus also reported no revenue but exhibited a noteworthy presence with downloads peaking at 8.7K in mid-February before settling to 6.7K by March's end. The app's weekly active users reached a high of 115K in mid-February, highlighting its popularity among French users.

BlaBlaCar Daily showed a consistent download range between 5K and 6K for most of the quarter, with a drop to 3.6K in the final week of March. This app's weekly active users peaked at 22K in early February, later declining to 17.9K by the quarter's close.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw an initial increase in downloads reaching 4.9K in mid-February, but experienced a decrease to 3K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting at 34K and ending the quarter at approximately 30.8K.

Lastly, Heetch - Ride-hailing app, which also had no reported revenue, saw downloads hovering around the 4K mark for most of the quarter, with weekly active users starting at 24K and decreasing to 19.7K.
